HERON’s Evidence Review Business Unit is the largest dedicated unit in the suppler sector and HERON were the first organisation to set up a horizontally integrated function tapping into the huge talent pool in India. With over 75 combined staff in the UK and India our strong process driven management can now deliver 50-60 HTA compliant reviews per year. Overall we estimate HERON has completed over 250 systematic and literature reviews and processes one publication every minute.
Our vision for this unit is to continue to be regarded as the highest quality provider and most efficiently managed provider in the supplier sector and within 3-5 years to routinely deliver governmental level reviews.
The leadership in this unit is provided by Senior Vice President, Dr Sangeeta Budhia PhD and supported by a senior scientific advisory and management team. Sangeeta is a post doc who has worked at HERON since 2005 and is a hugely experienced and talented manager. She has been directly involved in many of the process developments that have seen HERON develop from a single office solution to a multiple office, multi time zone operation requiring extensive and detailed infrastructure management and expertise.
